Hey Grace House Folks,
I'm excited about our Outdoor Parking Lot service this coming Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. Here is a bullet list of items you need to know. Please ready it carefully.
1. The service will be in the parking area in front of Grace House and will start at 9:30 a.m. Let's have a blast and worship our King. The restrooms will be available for use in the church but please no hanging out in the building. No coffee bar will be available. Feel free to bring your own if you desire.
2. We will have worship led by our worship team followed by a message that I will preach. We will be using a PA system.
3. The service will probably be a little less than an hour. Please come with a heart to worship. We will praise the Lord in the middle of the sounds of passing traffic. Yes this will be quiet different than our normal service but we are doing this unto the Lord and will magnify Him and experience the joy of His presence while doing so.
4. WE ASK YOU TO HONOR THE PHYSICAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES OF SIX FEET THAT OUR STATE AUTHORITIES HAVE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. No, we will not have tape measures:) Please be mindful that people by and large prefer not to be touched or to get too close to others right now. We have nothing to prove and we desire to be respectful of this unusual situation we are in right now.
5. We will have an area roped off for you to sit (Bring your own folding lawn chairs). Some of you may prefer to stand the entire time, just be mindful to stand behind the area where people are seated. We will all probably stand through the worship time.
---- Immediate family members and those living in the same household may sit close together if you desire.
6. We will have some parking spots saved for people who prefer to remain in their cars. This is understandable as some people are at greater risk to the virus. These parking areas will be the vacant ones between the green bags which will placed to keep one space between parked cars.
7. If you are going to be worshiping in the roped off area, PLEASE PARK further away from the area so the closer spots can be available for those who want to remain in their car.
8. PARENTS OF SMALLER CHILDREN - Please keep your children with you at all times. I know this may require you to stay in the car but whatever it takes:)
9. I know some of you may prefer to give your financial gifts while we are together. We will have a bucket in place for you to give anytime while we are together. Of course, you can continue to give in the other ways we have been using as well.
10. We will also have an online service as we have been offering at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.
