This Sunday - Finished or Not?
It is important for each believer to press the question upon his/her own life, Is it finished or not? This will be a very practical teaching to you orient your mind and anchor your life upon the very wonderful truth of completed work of Christ. It really does bear upon our whole perspective of Christian living and liberty. I hope each of you will be present and please consider inviting someone to attend with you.
Women of Grace - Tomorrow Afternoon!
From Mikki: The Grace House Women of Grace will meet tomorrow afternoon. Come on out for a fun evening of food, fun, and fellowship this Saturday from 4:30-6:30 p.m. We will meet at Grace House. We will have board and card games and you get to choose what you like to participate in. Pizza will be served but feel free to bring a finger food, snack, or dessert if you like...but not required! If you have a favorite board/card game, bring that as well. Remember, it's ladies only:)
We will have a special time of prayer in our service this Sunday for the Peace of Jerusalem as Oct. 7th is the Global Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem. There will also be a city wide event on Sunday afternoon which will be held at the Lauderdale County Courthouse and is open for the public to attend. Details will be provided on Sunday.

Grace House has four Deacon couples who do a wonderful job of taking care of so many practical ministry areas in Grace House. We are blessed to have them working in our midst. Thank you Mike and Mammie Clark, Mark and Nancy Forsythe, Terry and Lynda Rogers, and Mike and Vicki Sledge for your servanthood and leadership. Thank you Deacons! You are making a difference in all our lives and in the Kingdom.
The Movie DEADRAISER will be shown at our location.
The ARK and Radio Air Jesus will be hosting the movie DEADRAISER on Wednesday night, Oct. 30, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. This will be the Wednesday evening service. Watch the trailer HERE. The movie focuses on how the dead are being raised now just like they were in Bible days.
Fall Fest for Children - Oct. 31st
From Franie:It's that time of year again. Our annual Fall Festival will be Thursday, October 31 from 6-8 pm. Please let me know if you would like to help out. Also, the cooler will be set out starting this Sunday for candy donations for the fall festival. Please purchase individually wrapped candy and place in cooler at the sign in table.

Our Next Grace House Mission Trip -- Looks like late January.
Please be praying for the development of our next mission trip. This team will purposely be a very small team due to the travel schedule and arrangements and assignment.
About nine years ago the Lord really touched me deeply concerning the island nations. Since that time, I have had the opportunity to see the Lord do some amazing things in the Caribbean. We had an awesome time in Trinidad last year and this past April we saw God do a mighty work in Carriacou and Petite Martinque. It looks as if our next trip will be to Barbados with the possibility of island jumping to revisit Trinidad and Carriacou.
There is no doubt that developing a missions heart is one of the greatest things a congregation can do.

We are so grateful for the togetherness that our life groups are enjoying.
Our Life Groups Ministry is touching lives. I rejoice to hear about how our groups are praying for one another, ministering the Word to one another, going places together, building deep relationships. This is an important part of the family life of belonging to a local congregation.

Have A Laugh....
A mechanic was removing a cylinder head from the engine of a Harley Davidson motorcycle when he spotted a well-known heart surgeon in his shop. The mechanic shouted across the garage, "Hey, Doc, can I ask you a question?" The surgeon a bit surprised, walked over to the mechanic working on the motorcycle. The mechanic straightened up, wiped his hands on a rag and asked, "So Doc, look at this engine. I open its heart, take the valves out, fix 'em, put 'em back in, and when I finish, it works just like new. So how come I get such a small salary and you get the really big bucks, when you and I are doing basically the same work?"
The surgeon paused, smiled and leaned over, and whispered to the mechanic... "Try doing it with the engine running"
