Grace House Update from Pastor Eddie
BRING YOUR SHOES SUNDAY!
Remember to bring a bag of any shoes you are not using even if they are in need of repair. We will have a trailer in the parking lot this coming Sunday morning as a collection point. These shoes will be shipped to India where people who do not have shoes will be given shoes. The shoes in need of repair will be used by instructors to teach people the trade of repairing shoes. So this a way to be a blessing to the nations in a tangible "need meeting" way.
We are happy to carry our shoes to a local Nazarene Church who is sponsoring this project. So, let's bring some soles to touch some souls.

If every Christian is already considered a missionary, then all can stay put where they are, and nobody needs to get up and go anywhere to preach the gospel. But if our only concern is to witness where we are, how will people in unevangelized areas ever hear the gospel? The present uneven distribution of Christians and opportunities to hear the gospel of Christ will continue on unchanged.

This Sunday: Discovering Your Legal Identity
I am looking forward to sharing with you this Sunday about your "Legal" identity. The New Covenant is very clear about this. When we look at the Scripture together I believe the Spirit of revelation will begin to open our spiritual eyes wider to the truths about what Christ has done for us, why he has done it, and the difference it should make in our lives now and will make in eternity. Our Next Grace House Mission Trip -- Looks like late January.
Please be praying for the development of our next mission trip. This team will purposely be a very small team due to the travel schedule and arrangements and assignment.
About nine years ago the Lord really touched me deeply concerning the island nations. Since that time, I have had the opportunity to see the Lord do some amazing things in the Caribbean. We had an awesome time in Trinidad last year and this past April we saw God do a mighty work in Carriacou and Petite Martinque. It looks as if our next trip will be to Barbados with the possibility of island jumping to revisit Trinidad and Carriacou.
There is no doubt that developing a missions heart is one of the greatest things a congregation can do.

We are so grateful for the togetherness that our life groups are enjoying.
This past week a few different people shared with me how much the Life Groups Ministry is touching their lives. I rejoice to hear about how our groups are praying for one another, ministering the Word to one another, going places together, building deep relationships. This is an important part of the family life of belonging to a local congregation.

Have A Laugh....
A boy was having a lot of difficulty in French class. To encourage him, his teacher said, "You'll know you're really beginning to get it when you start dreaming in French."
