Grace House Update from Pastor Eddie
Think About It...
"When you are in the final days of your life, what will you want?
Will you hug that college degree in the walnut frame? Will you ask to be carried to the garage so you can sit in your car? Will you find comfort in rereading your financial statement? Of course not. What will matter then will be people. If relationships will matter most then, shouldn't they matter most now?"

This Sunday - Accessing the Riches in Glory
Did you know there is an amazing Scripture where God makes a promise to you regarding whatever need you may presently have in your life? Yes, that's right! He really does invite us to access the riches He has waiting on us for our need. This is one of those simple truths that can make a profound difference in our lives. How does this operate? What is this promise? Can I learn to walk in it? Come Sunday and see and hear for yourself. Who could you personally call and invite to join you?
Life Groups Expo 2nd Opportunity- After Sunday Service
Once again this Sunday immediately following the service, you will have the opportunity to meet with our life group leaders at their tables set up in the commons area. You will be able to see what groups are being offered, ask questions of the leaders, and even sign up for a group. This will be a great opportunity for you to become more aware of how you can be more relationally connected with others.
Shoals Sav-A-Life Banquet:
Everything to Me, Tues. Oct 1, 2013
We love and support Shoals Sav-A-Life. So many girls and babies are touched by the love of God through this incredible ministry in our area. Well known award-winning artist and Dove Award nominee, Mark Schultz will be ministering in concert at the upcoming banquet. Your purchase of a ticket and your presence at the event is a great way to individually bless this ministry as well as receive a blessing. MISSIONS - GOD'S HEART FOR OTHERS
We are so grateful for the huge heart that our Grace House people have for missions. I appreciate all that you do to help support missions. Your going, giving, and praying really does make a difference.
SARAH AND JEANETTE - Sara Davis and Jeanette Lerch are ministering in Honduras. They are part of a medical team that is ministering the love of Jesus in the mountains of Honduras. Pray for them and God's blessings on this assignment.
THE RICKETTS - Jason and Sarah Ricketts have departed for a couple of weeks for India on a ministry trip. Please continue to pray for them as they minister there.
Our Next Grace House Mission Trip -- Looks like late January.
Please be praying for the development of our next mission trip. This team will purposely be a very small team due to the travel schedule and arrangements and assignment.
About nine years ago the Lord really touched me deeply concerning the island nations. Since that time, I have had the opportunity to see the Lord do some amazing things in the Caribbean. We had an awesome time in Trinidad last year and this past April we saw God do a mighty work in Carriacou and Petite Martinque. It looks as if our next trip will be to Barbados with the possibility of island jumping to revisit Trinidad and Carriacou.
There is no doubt that developing a missions heart is one of the greatest things a congregation can do.
Hook Up With A Life Group!
We are so grateful for the togetherness that our life groups are enjoying.
Our Life Groups Ministry is touching lives. I rejoice to hear about how our groups are praying for one another, ministering the Word to one another, going places together, building deep relationships. This is an important part of the family life of belonging to a local congregation.
If you have questions about being in a group or leading a group, just get with Hillard and Charlotte Matthews who lead our Life Groups ministry.
You are now able to view all the options on our new Life Groups website at LIFEGROUPS.INFO

Have A Laugh....
One day an employee came in to work with both of his ears bandaged.
When his boss asked him what happened, he explained:
"Yesterday I was ironing a shirt when the phone rang and I accidentally answered the iron instead of the phone!"
"Well," the boss said, "that explains one ear, but what about the other?" "They called back!"
