Grace House Update from Pastor Eddie
This Sunday: Dead, Led & Fed: Living A Spirit-Led Life
You were made to live life led by the Spirit! I am excited about sharing with you this Sunday about being led by the Holy Spirit. I know you want to know more about hearing God's voice and walking in the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. There is so much revelation from God's Word about this and I can hardly wait till Sunday to share it with you. Come and bring a friend.
Think About It...
"God is spirit, and to Him magnitude and distance have no meaning. To us they are useful as analogies and illustrations, so God refers to them constantly when speaking down to our limited understanding. The words of God as found in Isaiah, "Thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity," give a distinct impression of altitude, but that is because we who dwell in a world of matter, space, and time tend to think in material terms and can grasp abstract ideas only when they are identified in some way with material things. In its struggle to free itself from the tyranny of the natural world, the human heart must learn to translate upward the language the Spirit uses to instruct us."
- A.W. Tozer, The Knowledge of The Holy

MISSIONS - GOD'S HEART FOR OTHERS
We are so grateful for the huge heart that our Grace House people have for missions. I appreciate all that you do to help support missions. Your going, giving, and praying really does make a difference.
THE SMITHS - Welcome back Ross and Lisa Smith from South Africa. We appreciate what Ross, Shirley, and Lisa mean to us and the Kingdom. They have been faithful to God's call to bring transformation and change to others and are making a wonderful difference in South Africa.
SARAH AND JEANETTE - Sara Davis and Jeanette Lerch will be leaving soon to minister in Honduras. They will be part of a medical team that will minister the love of Jesus in the mountains of Honduras. We will be helping them by bringing clothes, shoes, and other articles for them to distribute to these people in great need.
THE RICKETTS
- Jason and Sarah Ricketts will be leaving in a couple of weeks for India on a ministry trip. They will be in the Northeastern part of the country and will minister to the least, lost, and lonely in India. This couple has such a heart for children around the world.
Please continue to pray for these three specific needs and consider blessing them as well. We are grateful to be a part of what God is doing on the mission field through these who are willing to go.
Our Next Grace House Mission Trip -- Looks like late January.
Please be praying for the development of our next mission trip. This team will purposely be a very small team due to the travel schedule and arrangements and assignment.
About nine years ago the Lord really touched me deeply concerning the island nations. Since that time, I have had the opportunity to see the Lord do some amazing things in the Caribbean. We had an awesome time in Trinidad last year and this past April we saw God do a mighty work in Carriacou and Petite Martinque. It looks as if our next trip will be to Barbados with the possibility of island jumping to revisit Trinidad and Carriacou.
There is no doubt that developing a missions heart is one of the greatest things a congregation can do.
Hook Up With A Life Group!
We are so grateful for the togetherness that our life groups are enjoying.
Our Life Groups Ministry is touching lives. I rejoice to hear about how our groups are praying for one another, ministering the Word to one another, going places together, building deep relationships. This is an important part of the family life of belonging to a local congregation.
If you have questions about being in a group or leading a group, just get with Hillard and Charlotte Matthews who lead our Life Groups ministry.
You are now able to view all the options on our new Life Groups website at LIFEGROUPS.INFO

Have A Laugh....
One afternoon a man came home from work to find total mayhem in his house. His three children were outside, still in their P.J.'s, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers thrown all about the front yard. The door to his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house. Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess.
A lamp had been knocked over, and a throw rug was wadded against one wall. In the front room the TV was blaring a cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, Breakfast food was spilled on the counter, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand lay piled up by the back door.
He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and other piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried that she might be ill, or worse!!
He found her lounging into the bedroom, still in her pajamas, reading a novel.
She smiled, looked up at him and asked how his day went. He looked at her bewildered and asked, "What happened here today?"
She again smiled and answered, "you know everyday when you come home from work and ask me what in the world did I do today?"
"Yes", he replied reluctantly.
She answered, "We'll, today I didn't do it!!"
