One day a 6 year old was sitting in a classroom. The teacher was going to explain evolution to the children. The teacher asked a little boy:
TEACHER: Tommy do you see the tree outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky.
TOMMY: Okay. (He returned a few minutes later) Yes, I saw the sky.
TEACHER: Did you see God?
TOMMY: No.
TEACHER: That's my point. We can't see God because he isn't there. He just doesn't exist.
A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions.
The teacher agreed and the little girl asked the
boy:
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the tree outside?
TOMMY: Yes
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass outside?
TOMMY: Yessssss!
LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky?
TOMMY: Yessssss!
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the teacher?
TOMMY: Yes.
LITTLE GIRL: Do you see her brain?
TOMMY: No.
LITTLE GIRL: Then according to what we were taught today in school, she must not have one!

This Sunday - Just Keep Believing
This Sunday I plan to share an encouraging word entitled, JUST KEEP BELIEVING. All of us have times when we feel that we might as well give up...our promise will never come through. Well, there are a few things we need to hear from our spirit man inside us. You know, the one in union with the Holy Spirit? I hope you will be there and bring a friend.
Healing Testimony
Vicki Clark has been in a lot of severe debilitating pain for a while with arthritis issues. Tuesday morning, David, her husband, requested that the Tuesday Morning Life Group gather round him and lay hands on him in every area where Vicki was struggling with pain. The men did so and each prayed in agreement for her healing. Within one hour, Vicki felt the pain just leave her. We praise the Lord for His goodness and for Him touching Vicki in this powerful way. David and Vicki are Elders at Grace House. Please keep Vicki in prayer and stand with her for continued breakthrough. We encourage you all to realize the power of praying for one another to be healed.

Our Next Grace House Mission Trip
Please be praying for the development of our next mission trip. About nine years ago the Lord really touched me deeply concerning the island nations. Since that time, I have had the opportunity to see the Lord do some amazing things in the Caribbean. We had an awesome time in Trinidad last year and this past April we saw God do a mighty work in Carriacou and Petite Martinque. It looks as if our next trip will be to Barbados with the possibility of island jumping to revisit Trinidad and Carriacou.
We will keep you posted on the details as they emerge. We will let you know the requirements for participating as well as costs and dates soon. There is no doubt that developing a missions heart is one of the greatest things a congregation can do.
