"
Worship is giving God the best that He has given you. Be careful what you do with the best you have. Whenever you get a blessing from God, give it back to Him as a love gift. Take time to meditate before God and offer the blessing back to Him in a deliberate act of worship. If you hoard a thing for yourself, it will turn into spiritual dry rot, as the manna did when it was hoarded. God will never let you hold a spiritual thing for yourself; it has to be given back to Him that He may make it a blessing to others."
~ Oswald Chambers

This Sunday's Sermon- THE GROUP THING IS A GOD THING
Our God demonstrates to us the need for fellowship with others in that He exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He created us in a family and has redeemed us into a family. He calls us to do life together. This connectedness is an essential in the Christian life. Why? I'll be sharing that on Sunday. Bring a friend and be ready to receive.

Mission Carriacou - Mid- April
Well it looks like we are heading to Carriacou which is located just north of Grenda. A small Island of about 6,000 people Carriacou is one of the overlooked places that we feel led to go. We have been in contact with Pastor Happy and Denise who live there and the plans are to carry a ministry team around mid-April for a 6-7 day trip. We will only be able to carry around 10 people due the limitations of lodging and transportation once we arrive. The cost will be somewhere around $1200.00 per person. If you would like to be considered for this trip or need more details, please see Sam Lerch. An informational meeting will be held soon.

Remember Ross Smith in South Africa
Continue to keep Ross Smith who is currently in South Africa ministering in your prayers. God has opened some amazing doors for them and miraculous provisions have been made concerning facilities for their ministry there. Shirley recently arrived back from South Africa, so please encourage her as well. God is so good and we love how He is using the Smiths. Father bless Ross, Shirley, and Lisa!

A truck driver stopped at a roadside diner for lunch. He ordered a cheeseburger, coffee, and a slice of apple pie.
As he was about to eat, three motorcycles pulled up outside. The bikers came in, and one grabbed the trucker's cheeseburger and took a bite from it. The second one drank the trucker's coffee, and the third wolfed down the apple pie.
The truck driver didn't say a word. He simply got up, paid the cashier, and left.
When he was gone, one of the motorcyclists said, "He ain't much of a man, is he?"
"He's not much of a driver, either," the cashier replied, "He just backed his truck over three motorcycles."

Franie Deaton, who directs our children's ministry, does a great job of teaching our children truths that will help them build their lives on Christ and the truths of His Word. Each week's lesson is packed with object lessons, biblical truths, and lots of interactive fun. Our children begin the service with we adults at 9:00 a.m. and then transition to their own children's worship around 9:45 a.m. or so. See Franie if you have questions and to let her know if you would like to be one of her assistants occasionally. We also can use good helpers.
