4 ACTIONS STEPS FOR GRACE HOUSE IN 2013

Welcome to 2013 Grace House!

Wow, another year as come to us with all it's opportunities and obstacles. Let's agree that this year is a year of greater breakthrough, greater advance, greater favor, and greater love and power. This is my prayer for us all!

I want to share with you four actions involving the next six weeks which I humbly and sincerely ask you to consider as we begin 2013. I believe each of these are important and will help us gain momentum as we move forward. These are action steps if you will......something we can do.

Again, please prayerfully consider doing your best to enter into these four actions involving the next six weeks......and hopefully beyond!

ACTION STEP 1

Please visit ShoalsAlive.com each day of January and pray and decree in agreement with the prayer and declaration posted for that day. I will also be posting these to FaceBook each day. I wrote these out last year in response to a word through Dutch Sheets regarding strategy for our region.

I do believe this is a powerful step we can take as we all believe, pray, and decree the same things together throughout the month of January.

ACTION STEP 2

I have been announcing this the past month or so through my weekly update and now it is here. Beginning today at 3:00 p.m. in our facility there will be 12 hours of prayer and worship each day throughout the month of January from 3 p.m - 3 a.m. This is a come and go opportunity to join together in an atmosphere of prayer and worship and a set time to soak, interecede, experience transformation, and align with Heaven.

I encourage each of you to spend some time together in this atmosphere. If its 10 minutes, 3 hours or more, just consider doing it. It matters and God will honor our coming together in this way for this purpose. The early church often gathered together to pray.

You can come, sit and soak, read the Word, pray, and just enjoy His presence. Our ARK family is leading in this and we are joining with them. They are putting a lot of time and energy into facilitating this life changing time of prayer. They also need our help in facilitating, so let them know if you are willing to "man" a 2 hour watch. They want to have someone overseeing the facility for every 2 hour shift throughout the month.

Again. let's join together for this special life changing time of prayer and worship. Please take the time to read the five items regarding fasting below:

ACTION STEP 3

As people everywhere by tradition and custom are making resolutions for the New Year, let me encourage us all to choose to make 2013 a year where we are more faithful. We are a congregation that loves our liberty and life in Christ, but I also remind you that we are called to live committed lives for Him out of the life and liberty we have been given. Please choose to be more faithful in these ways:

1. Attendance - You are part of the family. When you are not there,a seat at the table is missed, part of the body is absent. We need each other and Sunday is our family get together. Please try to be more faithful in attending and being on time.

2. Worship Lifestyle - Worship is about awareness of God's presence and it is to be our lifestyle, not an event. Let's all be more consciously aware that we are in Christ 24/7 and that He is with us 24/7. The more we live with this awareness, the greater measure of his manifest presence we will experience when we come together. Now is a great time to become more focused in your walk with God. Spend time consciously being aware of His presence with you. Praise Him. Thank Him. Talk to Him. Listen to Him. Obey Him. If we all live more this way, then when we come together we will be able to go into even greater depths of His grace and love and power corporately.

3. Generosity - Giving is an indication of gratitude and recognition of God's blessing upon our lives. When we do not give, we cultivate an ungrateful heart which builds barriers to grace impacting our lives. I am very thankful for those who give and for what they give. I encourage us all to seek to go to a greater level of generosity in 2013. It is amazing at what God has done in the past four years we have been together. I thank Him for it. It is important that all of us are givers. We want to move to the level of abundance where we can begin to impact the world around us to a greater degree. Jesus said that where our treasure is found our heart is found. May we respond to His grace to become greater givers. I pray that not a single person in our midst would miss the opportunity to manifest God's love and to experience the joy of generosity that comes through giving. For God so loved us that He gave......

4. Small Group - We will be focusing our attention more strongly upon the area of small groups in 2013. Wow, what could happen if everyone were part of a small group within our midst. This is the place where you go deeper in relationships with others. The place where you share your heart. The place where you agree in prayer for one another. The place for intimacy and life sharing. Take a step to get involved. You will hear more about this shortly.

ACTION STEP 4

On Feb. 6th - 9th, at our facility, the 2013 Alabama School of Power and Love will be held. In this conference last year, my life was deeply impacted as were many of us in our region. As you know, we do not hold or host many events, but this one is very important. You will become better equipped. You will see God's power and love in operation. You will be touched and changed. The speakers who are coming are anointed for this assignment and you will quickly feel your heart connecting to them. Please consider signing up. I am so grateful for each of you for being a part of our Grace House family. What God is doing in our midst is so awesome. I do believe this has the potential to be a year of miraculous advancing of God's Kingdom for us all. It is so wonderful to see so many people becoming more connected around the purposes of God.

Again, please pray about your involvement in these four action steps. None of them are meant to condemn but to call us all up and forward into His plan and desires. I am very excited about 2013 and what Father has in store for us as we position our hearts before Him as His children. Let us move forth to conquer with power and love! For He is worthy of our all.
