Following is a story I shared on Facebook this week that I believe will bless you all:

We are involved in supporting Shoals Sav-A-Life by having a baby bottle drive. Over 400 of these bottles have been given out to our church wide family so far. Please be sure to pick up a baby bottle this Sunday which is the LAST SUNDAY to get your bottle. It's as simple as filling the bottles with loose change and encouraging others to do the same. Then return the bottle to the church and all the money will be given to Shoals Sav-A-Life. Your change can change a life.

More candy and helpers are needed for this coming Wednesday night of fun and fellowship. If you would like to help with the fun-games, see Franie Deaton. If you would like to help with providing candy, just bring it Sunday and drop it in the container in front of our Welcome Center. It's mighty "sweet" of you to help!

The North Alabama Women's Encounter held last weekend touched the lives of all the women who attended. The reports and testimonies of changed lives are so encouraging. We are grateful to God for the Encounter weekends and how God is using them in our region.

Please remember to pray for Ross Smith who will be joined by Shirley and Lisa a little later as he ministers in South Africa. Ross has been used mightily of the Lord in many of our lives and his vision for South Africa is to see Jesus lifted up and for people to know who they are in Him. He leaves this weekend to fly to SA, so pray for safety and for God to bless the new church started there. Pray for Ross as ministers through the word and power of the Holy Spirit. 

Last week, Jim and Anne Bevis oversaw a beautiful event in which Mayor Bobby Irons was honored by several of the pastors in our city at a breakfast held at the Florence Conference Center. It was such a moving and gracious expression of appreciation for the Mayor and his wife, Sarah, who have served faithfully this past eight years. Let's pray for the Mayor during this transition in his life. Also, I was reminded again of how much God uses Jim and Anne as ambassadors of His kingdom. We are blessed to have them in our midst.

In less than a month, we will be given the opportunity to vote in the Presidential election. As citizens of this blessed nation, it is important that we exercise our right to vote. Please be in prayer, seek God's guidance, become informed on what the candidates believe and support, and then use the "vote" you have been given to help guide our nation forward. To fail to vote is to forfeit your voice. If you have not registered to vote, then do so as soon as possible.

Prophetic Word - Cindy Jacobs - October 2012 - Birmingham AL

The Lord would say I am coming,  because this is a season where I am getting ready to release my burning ones in Alabama and Tennessee and Mississippi  and Georgia and Louisiana and Arizona and Alaska and Florida and New York.  I am coming like a mighty rushing wind says the Lord.  I am coming to begin to shake everything that can be shaken.   But God would say that the enemy has come in,  and where the enemy has come in like a flood  I raise up a standard.   So  I say to you I am raising up my standard bearers in this hour for a new holiness movement says the Lord.  I am raising up my standard bearers  the Lord would say you think there was something that happened with Finney and  and Whitfield?   oh I am going to do something great with this generation says the Lord.  The Lord says you think the Moravians had fire.. oh No!  I am going to release my burning ones  in a double portion manner  from what the Moravians had says God.    And the Lord says I am getting ready to thrust laborers into the harvest fields.  The Lord says even over northern Alabama ,  I send the signs to the north says God and the Lord says I will not pass you by.   For God says I am getting ready to shake roots that were here even in ancient  times  of  fire  that which happened in days past  I am going to redig some wells says God.  And the Lord would say even what happened in the past in the coal mining towns, and things that happened in the highways and byways says God, I am getting ready to raise up a generation of circuit riders that are my holy ones and they are going to begin to preach to the new generation, I am going to send them city by city,  school by school,  place by place says God.  And I am going to make a decree into that,  so Father God  we decree over Northern Alabama in a particular way send your revivial fires its awakening!  The Lord says some of you have said well there's a lot happened down south  but what about us?  Oh this is your time!  Says God for northern Alabama.  Somebody shout!!

We are excited to announce that Chad Dedmon will be with us on Sunday morning, November 11th in our Grace House service. He will also be ministering at the ARK service. Chad is from Bethel Church in California where Bill Johnson pastors. Many of you have heard the story of the young man who held a healing meeting at the check out line of a supermarket in Redding, CA where several people got healed. That's Chad. He has seen the eyes of the blind opened and many other miracles. We will be blessed as this young man shares his passion for Christ with us. Let's be praying that we all would receive a greater impartation in the area of love and healing in this special service. I am excited to introduce someone new to our fellowship, Pastor Stan Tyra. Stan lives in Rogers, Ark. where he pastors Revolution Church. We met on the retreat I attended in N.C. back in August. He was also one of the four of us that was in the UTV accident and he is recovering well. I know you will love his heart and spirit as he comes and ministers to us on Sunday morning, Nov, 18th.
