Thanks to all of you who gave "coins for change" throughout the month of August. We rejoice in the many wonderful "token" testimonies that came forth. As we told you, we would be sowing the money given for a worthwhile cause outside our own house. One of the things that your giving has done is to provide the money for a "Bore Well" to be dug and installed among a colony of people in India who suffer for water. The photo to the left shows a couple using one of these wells in another nearby village. Government trucks come through every other day and people fight to get their buckets filled. This new well will provide a daily fresh supply of water for these thirsty people. It is overseen by a minister I have been communicating with for the past three years. I am amazed at all this young man does to help the poor. His ministry involves sharing the love of Jesus Christ with this people. Thanks again for your giving. Do you see your "coins" being converted to a "cup of cold water" for a thirsty soul? Jesus certainly does. More updates later....

KINGDOM PLEASURES: Sermon Series
I plan on sharing Pt.7 of this series this Sunday. Last week we learned more about using the keys we have been given to the Kingdom. We will now begin to look at some SIGNS OF THE KINGDOM which will answer the question, "How do you know when the Kingdom is come and the will of God is being done?" I believe this teaching will help stoke our faith and fire us up to see more Kingdom activity in our lives. Come and bring a friend!
Remember you can listen to all the messages of the series at: You can even download the MP3 into your ipods and ipads.
Also, for any CD's of our services, just see Mike Sledge. He is one of our Deacons and does a great job with our Media which helps get the messages preached at Grace House into the hands of others throughout the world.

I remember hearing Graham Cooke say, "God is the kindest person I have ever met." I totally agree with this. I also believe that when we demonstrate kindness to people, we are demonstrating something that reflects the image of God through us. Let's all continue to pray that the tremendous love and kindness that permeates our church family would continue and even grow stronger. Your act of kindness can be life-changing for someone else. So many people receive unkind treatment where they work, where they go to school, and sometimes in their own homes. We can counteract this with the kindness of God which is a fruit and evidence that the Holy Spirit lives in us. May we involve ourselves in random and radical acts of kindness.

We are so blessed to have such an anointed and faithful team to lead us in worship week by week. Thank you worship team for using your gifts in the way you do. The presence of God has been so precious and powerful in our services. So many testimonies are shared by people who encounter God through the praise and worship we enjoy. We do not take it for granted and we know that it is the Lord's presence in the midst of our worship that is changing lives. May Father take us all deeper and may our heart-hunger for Him increase week by week as well. It is a joy to join with and follow our worship team as they embrace the Lord with their love.
The Scripture sets before us many different ways that we are commanded to praise the Lord. Of course, this can become just routine, so we must make sure our heart is engaging the Lord while our body is expressing love to our King. Isn't it exciting to know the Lord is in our midst with His presence and power? Whether we are leaping, dancing, raising our hands, laying prostrate on our faces, sitting quietly in His presence, or sitting and weeping, let's be aware that we have been given the privilege and pleasure of hosting the Lord's presence in our midst. Like the unending waves of the ocean, there is always more of Him that we have not yet experienced. More Lord More! May the God encounters escalate and His glory become more and more weighty in our midst.

We have a faithful group of powerful praying women who meet each Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. at our facility. You are invited to join with them. I remember a story of a guest who visited the Metropolitan Tabernacle where Charles Haddon Spurgeon preached week by week in the late 1800's. The church was exploding with growth and many souls were being saved. The guest asked the well-know pastor, "What is the secret of the growth of this church?" Right before the service started, Spurgeon carried the guest to a door in the basement of the church. He opened the door, and there in the room was a large group crying out to God in intercession. Spurgeon turned to the guest and said, "This is the secret!" Thank God for all of you who pray and travail before the Lord for those things on His heart.

Another Praise the Lord Update.
Remember I have asked you all to be praying about God providing the funds for a portable baptistry like the one shown in the photo to the left. Last Sunday, right after the service concluded, a dear believer came forward and said, "I want to give money to buy the baptistry!" Isn't God good? So we pray for God to bless this dear believer...and as soon as the money is deposited we can proceed to order the baptistry and we pray we will use it very often.
