UPDATE FROM PASTOR EDDIE - JULY 28, 2012

THE TOKENS ARE COMING

Just a reminder for you about the prophetic word released on Wednesday night, June 20th, concerning the first three weeks in August. Basically, the word was an encouragement to expect tokens from the Lord the first 21 days of August with the knowledge that each of these blessings would be a token of much greater blessings to come to supply everything needed that God has called our church family to do. The word also spoke of unusual miracles and release and activation of spiritual gifts. Financial blessings, promotions, and more such be expected as well. I believe, as do several prophetic voices in our fellowship, that it is important for us to believe and sow into this season with expectancy. The Scripture teaches us that if we are faithful with little then more will be entrusted to us. Our testimonies and faith are all very important.

This past week, one of our members contacted me and shared that he had been praying into this word since it was given. The other day he received an unexpected check in the mail in excess of $2500.00 that related to something four years ago. He did not even know he was supposed to receive it. I believe he was able to reach forward with his faith and has already pulled one of these unexpected blessings (tokens) from the Lord into his life. Yesterday, I heard of another one of these testimonies which occurred in the ARK that was over $900.00. Of course, these blessings are not to be limited to financial, but the word did focus on finances and promotions. Pastor Phillip also was given a word about these sudden blessings beginning to happen. So the Lord is encouraging us to raise our faith level.

There are two things we (THE ARK AND GRACE HOUSE) will be doing to respond and prepare our hearts to honor the Lord for these blessings.

1. We want to receive a special offering and we want it to be used outside of our local house. So we will be sowing it into a very worthy cause. This special offering will be received tomorrow in the service to be given to the Ricketts Family who serve the Lord in Thailand. They minister to children on the streets of Pattaya who are targeted for the sex industry. These children of prostitutes really need the love of Jesus. The human trafficking there for sex is horrendous. The Ricketts will be sharing with GRACE HOUSE what they do there in Thailand and it is remarkable.

2. Secondly, during the month of August, we are asking you to bring your change (coins) each week. Beginning this coming Wednesday night, (August 1), there will be a huge container for everyone, including our children, to give their change as a seed offering of the coming harvest of blessings. In other words, we will be sowing our "tokens" as well during this time. At the end of the month, this change offering will also be sown into a worthy cause outside of our local house. So there will be a lot of sowing going on and a lot of blessing taking place.

Let's all set our hearts to expect, believe, and rejoice at all the wonderful things the Lord is doing.

SKATE NITE - Monday Night

This Monday night, July 30, from 6-8 p.m. will be a skate night for all children of GRACE HOUSE and The ARK. Come join the fun at the skating rink for a little bit of holy rolling!!!

Prophetic Company and Intercessors Meeting this Tues.

This Tuesday night, July 31, at 6:30 p.m. I am asking our prophetic company and intercessors to meet with us. The Ark and their intercessors will be joining us. We Pastors feel the need for our intercessory covering to be be increased. We are asking you in this group to come and have a special time of praying over us. We certainly have seen an increased need for this kind of prayer. Thank all of you for your continued prayers.

BAPTISMAL SERVICE COMING UP!

On Sunday afternoon, August 12th, we will be having a baptism service. We are yet to finalize the time and place but the date is set. We will be joining our ARK family members and doing this together. Several of you have already shared with us your desire to be baptized, so if any of the rest of you want to sign up, please let Mikki know.

Church Wide Picnic in September

Just a quick note to let you know that GRACE HOUSE and The ARK will be having a church wide picnic. This will be after Labor Day weekend, and we will give you the details a little later after we have secured our spot. Get ready to have a blast!

REVIVAL IS HERE!

I agree with Pastor Phillip's word from this past Wednesday night. We are experiencing a wonderful move of God in our midst and we need to celebrate it in our hearts, keep in in our prayers, and share it with our friends. God is pouring out wonderful blessings. People are being healed, lives are being transformed, faith is arising, and bondages are being broken. Now is the time to be pressing in and gaining ground. We feel we are on the edge of seeing this begin to manifest across our region.

Preaching in Montgomery

Mikki and I will be in Montgomery, AL, this weekend on a preaching assignment. Please pray that I will flow in the grace the Lord gives for Pastor Kyle Searcy's congregation. Pastor Kyle is a key apostolic leader in our state, and he and I both feel that this is a special assignment from the Lord for me to come an impart out of what is happening here in our region. It is also another step of restoration to see all God has planned for us fulfilled. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity and for praying for us. God is positioning our Church family to be an OUTPOST OF FREEDOM in our state. I do not believe any of us fully fathom the potential of what is happening in our midst.

Remember to invite any unchurched friends you may have to join with us for our services. God is really moving in our midst as we model family unity in our region. There is probably someone who is ready to come with you if an invitation were extended to them. Will you give them a call?
