God is so Good to Us!
People are being saved, revived, healed, delivered, transformed and falling more in love with Jesus. People are making new friends, feeling part of a loving family, learning to be free, becoming more radical in their obedience to Christ. These are signs of the Kingdom and they are happening daily among our people. Our prayers are being answered. Our attendance is increasing. Our giving is rising. Our expectancy is growing. God is truly so good to us. The Lord has really been pressing me to have eyes that see ALL His goodnesses in every area of my life.

We were so blessed last Sunday by God's Spirit moving in our midst. What a joy to hear the testimonies that were shared by several different people. I encourage you to realize how blessed we are and how honored we should feel that God would visit us in a way that every week we are hearing of God's power at work in and through people's lives. Here is a post from FaceBook I shared yesterday as an example of how God is honoring His word about the pouring out of tokens in our midst:

TESTIMONY: Last week I mentioned to you all, that we were experiencing many "tokens" (expressions of God's goodnesses) poured out on us during the first three weeks of August in response to a prophetic word given on June 20th. This is an update for you that we continue to hear so many testimonies. Here are some I have heard about in the last few days:

1. A lady got a call about moving out of her

apt. into her own house. She had been praying for a house ot live in. She prayed for the provisions to see this come to pass and because of some supernatural provisions from the Lord she is now living in the house.
2. A man went to the doctor and was treated for free saving him $75.
3. A lady got a call and was forgiven $28,000 of debt she owed.
4. A business man who prayed and saw God provide him the means to give a vehicle to an employee who was in need.
5. Three people who were praying for God to make a way to attend a school of ministry received $1000 each from an "anonymous" donor.
6. Another man was standing in line without the money to buy a cold glass of tea to go with his lunch. He really wanted the tea. When he got to the counter, the lady asked if he would like a class of tea that someone had paid for and left behind. He saw God give him the desires of his heart.
7. In the middle of a lot of cuts, a dear brother was given a pay raise. He saw this as God's blessing his life.
8. A man recently lost his billfold on an out of town trip. It had $120 cash in it. Before he returned home, he had been given over $200 in cash from different friends and family who just wanted to bless him and were unaware of his loss.
9. A couple who saw God redeem them from being without a home and have seen powerful restoration in their family, finances, and even healing in their bodies.

From the little things to the big things, it is so important for us to be aware of the many ways God blesses us. Be encouraged, it is the Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom and meet all your needs.

Help Needed with Wheelchair Ramp
We were contacted a few days ago about someone who lives near the church who needs a wheelchair ramp built. I visited in the people's home and checked it out. It is a project that I think could be done fairly quickly by some skilled hands and the right tools. The family is willing to provide the materials. Please see me (Eddie) if you are willing to help meet this need. I have more information I can share with you. This is a tangible way to share Jesus' love.

What a Joy to See People Baptized!

Last Sunday afternoon, a fairly large crowd of us met at Christ Chapel and Pastors Phillip, Brian, and myself had a time baptized around 20 people. This celebration of God's redemptive power at work in people's lives is amazing. More Lord!

Kyle Searcy - Weds. Sept. 19th
We have invited Kyle Searcy to come and share with all of us on Wednesday night, September 19th in our 6:30 p.m. worship service. Known and gifted as an Apostle, Kyle ministers in a strong Apostolic anointing. He oversees Fresh Anointing House of Worship in Montgomery, AL as well as a network of Fresh Anointing Churches. He also serves as the overseer of the Alabama Apostolic Reformation Council. We will all be blessed. Both Pastor Phillip and I feel that this will be another step forward into what the Lord has for us in our region and our state. Please be praying for God's will to be accomplished in this special service.

Thank You-Thank You-Thank You!
Each and every service, gathering, and event we have has behind it a number of people working hard getting things ready, keep things moving, and cleaning up. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and ask God to especially bless you for your servant hearts. It would be chaos without you. What you do matters. You are a blessing to all of us!

Be Friendly and Bring A Friend with You!

First, I encourage you to take an effort to get to know people  at our services. We are having lots of visitors and we want them all to feel loved and welcomed. Don't assume that everyone has already been greeted. Take the initiative to be friendly.

Remember to invite any unchurched friends you may have to join with us for our services.  God is really moving in our midst as we model family unity in our region. There is probably someone who is ready to come with you if an invitation were extended to them. Will you give them a call?
