Hey Grace House Family,

I received the following prayer which was penned by Madeline Soula for Jim and Anne Bevis. I wanted to pass it on to you and ask you to join with me in praying in agreement with this prayer. Jim and Anne will be returning home this week. Let's pray them in safely. They have been mightily used of God this past 50 days or so that they have been in Israel. They will be sharing with our Grace House family on Sunday morning, Dec. 6th. I look forward to hearing all the God stories from this strategic trip to Israel.

Here's the prayer:

“My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord.  Let every creature praise his holy name  forever and ever.” Psalm 145

Heavenly, Most Gracious Father.   As the Israel Mission draws to a close, we are filled with gratitude for ALL You have done.

You have protected Jim and Anne.

You have led them….guided them…encouraged them.

You have surrounded them with Your Presence and comfort.

You have provided housing, transportation.

You have provided Divine appointments.

Through them You have encouraged so, so many with their prayers, their listening ears, their tears,  their counsel, the washing of feet.

You have taught Jim and Anne so much and filled them with a desire to share all they have learned about Your Land and the people in it.

As we look back to the many months during which we have been praying for this Mission, we realize that You have faithfully heard and answered our prayers on behalf of Jim and Anne.  Thank You, thank You, Lord God.

Now Father, we come petitioning You to expedite their packing and all the logistics of their trip home.

Please, Lord,  bring to mind anything they may be forgetting. 

Please, Lord, protect their health and increase their energy for the trip.

Please, Lord, grant them safe and uncomplicated travel back home.

Please, Lord, walk with them through their re-entry as they adjust to time, climate and cultural changes.

As they seek to share with others all You have done and all they have learned, we pray YOU will be honored and glorified for Your faithfulness, goodness, kindness, power and love.

Together, we pray in the Mighty Name of Jesus…our very precious Lord and Savior.
