This Sunday morning we will be honored to have Pastor David Duncan minister God's Word to us. Bro. David lives here in Florence, Alabama and is a member of Grace House. He has been a dear friend of mine since 1995. God used this man powerfully in my life to lead me into the life of the Spirit. He formerly pastored the Solid Rock Church in Haleyville and continues to be deeply loved by that congregation. He has a moving testimony of God's love and grace at work in His life. I look forward to hearing Bro. David and I know that the Lord will use Him in our midst. Please be praying for the service this Sunday that the Holy Spirit would touch hearts and mend the broken places.

ROOTED PRETEENS FALL COSTUME AND BOWLING BALL

From Allison Fisther -- Rooted (Our Preteens)  will have a Fall Costume & Bowling Ball @ GH & Lauderdale Lanes on Sat, Oct 25, 2014 @ 6p.m.We will each dress up as inanimate objects...use your imagination & all the creativity you can muster!!! Examples are included in the pic: food, household objects, toys, etc. Homemade costumes are encouraged!!! We will gather, eat pizza, & compare our costumes & identities. Then we will bowl @ the nearby bowling alley! (while dressed up!!!)

UPCOMING WOMEN'S EVENT

Our next Women of Grace event will take place on Saturday, November 1st from 10-12 at Lucy's Artsy Place is Muscle Shoals. You can choose an art-craft project from the many that Lucy has available. She will be there to help with ideas and assist if needed so you don't have to be artsy in order to enjoy this time together. These projects range in cost from $5-10 and up. You can check out the Grace House Facebook photo albums and find last the Women of Grace Album from last Nov. 1 and see what we did last year. You also check out Lucy's site at lucysartsyplace.com. 

You can meet us there at 10 a.m. or meet us at church at 9:30 a.m. to ride together.
