UPDATE FROM PASTOR EDDIE - Friday, August 22, 2014

Published: Fri, 08/22/14

~THIS SUNDAY MORNING~
The Lord has been blessing Grace House abundantly in these past months and I am humbled by the sweet presence of God's Spirit in our services. We have had so many prophetic words to encourage of us of God's great plans for our congregation and our region. Let's all be sensitive to God's Spirit, committed to His plans, and prayerful for what lies before us.

This Sunday, our Student Minister, Joey Trieb, will be ministering God's Word to us. Bro. Joey is a dynamic young preacher and I am excited about the message he will be sharing with us. Please pray for him as he prepares for this Sunday. He will be preaching out of Ephesians 1 and 2 on THE RICHES OF HIS GRACE. It'll be wonderful.

Invite someone to come with you this Sunday at Grace House. Do you have some unchurched neighbors or friends? Give them a call.
This Sunday Night is our Monthly
NIGHT OF HEALING
THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT
You will be hearing from our other pastor this Wednesday night, Pastor Mikki Lawrence. We are always blessed when Mikki shares and I know God will use her in a wonderful way. Please come out and be blessed as my sweetheart ministers to our congregation.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR LABOR DAY WEEKEND. WE ARE PLANNING A WEEKEND OF REFRESHING AND OUTPOURING!
UPCOMING MISSION PROJECT
Bring Your Items this Sunday or Next.
Did you know that there are still over 2000 people groups representing over 200 million people who do not have a Bible translated into a language which they can read and understand? We will be praying and working together over the next six weeks to help Wycliffe Bible Translators to change this sobering statistic.

We are asking that you donate one or more of your favorite Christian books, music, or art items. The books and music can be new or used and from any genre of Christian writing (children's, fiction, autobiographical, theological, prophetic, prayer, etc.). We will take these items and arrange them into small groupings and on Saturday, September 6th, from 9-10 a.m. we will have a Bazaar where we will offer them for sale. All proceeds will be given to Wycliffe Bible Translators to help them provide Bibles translated into the indigenous language of people who do not yet have a Bible or Scripture portion they can read in their own language.

We will also have an auction for certain items that will be put together. We will have brunch items for all who come as well. It will be a great time of food, fun, and fellowship for all who come. Invite your friends and neighbors to come. It's for a great cause to help better the world in which we live. This is not just about finding a bargain for yourself but providing a Bible for someone else. A great way to sow into the Kingdom.

We are called to get the Gospel into all the world. Please pray with us about this important Kingdom opportunity to make a difference.

~New Series ~
HONORING THE GOD OF REVIVAL
Beginning Sunday, September 7th
This new series is a result of a vision I had several weeks ago during our Tuesday night prayer meeting. I will tell you more about the vision during the series itself. For three weeks, we will looking at the great acts of God during three different moves of God's Spirit in our nation. There have been many more than three but these three are important for where we are right now. The first week we will looking into a very powerful work of God that began in 1801 in Cane Ridge, KY.  This series will be grounded in Scripture and full of stories of God's outpouring that occurred in these great revivals.
As we honor what God has done before we cultivate an environment that allows the same Spirit to move in a similar way once again.
