We all have to deal with temptations in our life. Failing to overcome our temptations can be extremely costly to us and others. Giving in to temptation begins the journey of developing a hard heart and dull hearing.
Being tempted is not a sin; but, the enemy of our souls will seduce us to believe that if we are really living righteously we would not be tempted. We will be tempted. Jesus was tempted. We will have to deal with temptation. How we deal with it will impact what our future will look like.
The good news is God is faithful to help us deal victoriously with temptation, even if we have caved in at times. I believe the teaching this Sunday will be encouraging and empowering for each of us. Each time we overcome a temptation we are choosing God's best and positioning ourselves for a better life.
If you are struggling, this message will help you. If you think you are above the allures of temptation, this message will help you. I invite you to be a part of encountering God's presence and being equipped by God's Word this Sunday at Grace House. Services at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Invite a friend and come expecting!
