A waiting group of praying warriors huddled together in a time of transition when suddenly they were moved upon by the mighty power of the Holy Spirit who entered with the sound of a rushing mighty wind and manifested in cloven tongues of fire. In the midst of this supernatural outburst the order of the world was being changed as the church was
birthed out of a small band of the disciples of Jesus.
What happened in that moment unleashed a movement of empowered men and women that changed the world of their day and continues to impact our world today. We are able to live the same kind of supernaturally empowered lives as they did. We have the very same Spirit empowering us as they did. The question is, “Are we consciously and responsively living under the blessing of Pentecost?” Pentecost was Father’s idea. The Holy Spirit is Father’s gift to us. We are not
left to live on our own resources. We have the Holy Spirit to lead us, empower us, gift us, anoint us and so much more.
I’m leaping on the inside thinking about sharing this message with you this coming Sunday at Grace House. Let’s get ready to celebrate Pentecost and welcome the Holy Spirit to have His way!
