This Sunday evening at 5:30 p.m. our RISE student ministry parents and students are
invited to a very special time of transition, honoring, and also introduction. Scott and Megan Sewell who have faithfully served for the past two years as our Student Pastors are transitioning away from this area of ministry. They have been in student ministry for a dozen years or so and see the future ahead of them as a time to rest, prepare, and engage in other areas of ministry here at Grace House. So, there will be a reception to honor them this Sunday evening.
Leading the reception will be D.J. and Sarah Hall who are assuming the leadership of our student ministry in addition to their current leadership of our 20 Somethings ministry. D.J. and Sarah are working closely with Scott and Megan during this time of transition. I have been deeply moved by the love and honor I have witnessed in both of these couples.
This Sunday will mark the concluding service for Scott and Megan as our Student Pastors so we invite all our RISE parents and students to come share your love with Scott and Megan while also getting to know D.J. and Sarah.
By the way, Scott and Megan will continue to be a vital part of our Grace House family. So,
it’s not goodbye, it’s just a change.
