Another new opportunity for spiritual growth is extended to you through FRESH START which is a four-week study held at 9:15 a.m. in the Youth Center on all four Sunday mornings in March. People who attend this study will learn or be reminded of the basics of spiritual growth and
development. Margaret Irby will be teaching this class. It is for anyone hungry for a "Fresh Start". You can sign-up for this study at Sign-Up Central.

STARTS TONIGHT! The Journey Women of Grace Spring Retreat March 3-4, 2017 Mark your calendars for a special time away from it all at the Joe Wheeler State Park. Joe Wheeler Resort
Lodge offers a fantastic view from the picturesque wood and stone lodge. The Lodge is located just off the main Tennessee River within the quiet beauty of First Creek. The land surrounding the creek is all part of the park and offers a pristine nature backdrop. We will begin our time together at 6:30 p.m. in the Cypress Room. However, some of you may want to come on for dinner on Friday before our first session. Feel free to come on about 5:15 p.m.
and eat at the restaurant which is straight across the hall from the Cypress Room. There are a variety of menu items available from sandwiches to the Prime Rib Buffett with many lower cost items available. Saturday morning will begin at 8:30 a.m. with breakfast at the Lodge. There is a breakfast buffet or you can order from the menu. At 9:30 a.m., we will gather for another time of worship and sharing together.
All scheduled meetings will end at lunch. Some women will be eating lunch at the restaurant for those of you who would like to do so. Hotel rooms sleep four adults. If you prefer a room for two or even a room just for yourself (after all, it is a night away!), just let us know when you register and if we still have enough space available, we will happily accommodate you. Just fyi, the room charge we pay to Joe
Wheeler increases with the number of occupants in the room. Cost for retreat plus a room for one is $95.00 (plus any meals you purchase).
Cost for retreat plus a room for two is $50.00 (plus any meals you purchase).
Cost for retreat plus a room for three is $40.00 (plus any meal you purchase).
Cost for retreat plus a room for four is $35.00 (plus any meals you purchase). Cost for the retreat without a
room is $15.00 (which helps pay for our retreat expenses). Sign up for the retreat at church at the registration table. A deposit of $30 is due by Sunday, Feb. 26. The remainder of your cost is due when you check in. Your deposit goes toward the total cost of the room. For example, if you stay in a room for 2 at @$50 and you pay your $30 deposit, you will owe $20 more when you check in. Fifty is the total cost.
You can pay the entire amount when you register or just the deposit. If you have financial problems but would like to attend, please see Teresa Clingan to discuss scholarships. You can check in after 4:00 p.m. at the Cypress Room. We will have all the room keys there and you will pick them up from us instead of picking them up at the desk. From Pastor Matt Standridge --
Good Morning Men of Grace House.
Many of the ladies will be at the women's retreat this weekend and we want to make your Friday night with kids easier and more fun.
We will meet at Grace House, get Pizza, Play Games, and let the kids enjoy a movie. Pizza will be arriving around 6:30 and we will hang until 8:30-9.

Men will be meeting at Grace House on Monday nights at 6:30 PM beginning March 6th and studying Christ in You by Eric Johnson * For the FIRST Small Group gathering, everyone (Men, Women and Married Couples)
will all come together at Nick and Anna Ross’ home on Monday, March 6th at 6:30 PM. This will give us a time to get to know one another better before we branch off into our groups. Everyone who would like to can bring finger foods for the night.
Women will be meeting at Anna Grace Ross’ home at 209 Mary Lee Drive, Florence, AL, 35634, on Monday nights at 6:30 PM beginning
March 6th. They will study Uninvited by Lisa Terkeurst. * For the FIRST Small Group gathering, everyone (Men, Women and Married Couples) will all come together at Nick and Anna Ross’ home on Monday, March 6th at 6:30 PM. This will give us a time to get to know one another better before we branch off into our groups. Everyone who would like to can bring finger foods for the night.

Heart Made Whole group for women will be led by Kimberly Standridge and Anna Laura Lawrence. This group will meet on Tuesday evenings beginning March 7
at 6 at Casey Farris's home at 315 Jackson Drive, Muscle Shoals, AL, 35661.
40-55’s Braxton & Natalie Bogus- Couples Group- This group will discuss the sermon from Sunday morning and what God is speaking through the message each week. This group will meet on Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m. 150 Karen
Drive, Florence, AL 35630. Date TBA.
Derrick and Dana Wallace -Couples Group- This group will look to apply the messages from the Sunday service and Wednesday night service and focus on how to walk out the life principles from the messages as couples/ parents. This group will meet on Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m.. 8180 Hwy 17, Florence, AL 35634. Beginning March 7.
Cathy Basco and Dana Wallace will co-lead a group for women will meet
weekly at Panera Bread on Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. and will be studying Joseph Prince’s Spiritual Warfare. Beginning March 11.
Tina Kasmeier is leading a group for women and will be studying Lisa Bevere's book Without Rival. This group meets weekly on at 6:30 at Tina’s home, 140 Rickard Lane, Florence, AL 35634. Beginning March 6. Derrick Wallace will lead a men’s

March 2017 Pastor Eddie will be ministering in South Korea for nine days preaching and teaching on the Ministering in Kingdom Power and Authority. He will be ministering to Leaders and students who are very hungry to know more about the Holy Spirit, His gifts,
and power. Please pray that Pastor Eddie will hear clearly as he has the opportunity to minister prophetically to each person in attendance at the Spiritual Coaching Schools in which he will be ministering.There will be an opportunity to sow into this trip this coming Sunday at GH.
Also we are excited about Blake Kasmeir going to Vietnam and James Nesbit ministering in Israel in the month of March.
We will be praying for them in our services and GH will also sow into these trips as well through your regular giving. In addition, we will also be sowing in the Ricketts ministry in Thailand as they reach the children who are suffering due to human trafficking. We are grateful to be able to sow into other ministries on a regular basis as well. God blesses the people who bless missions!
February 2017 Feb 12 - Bring a Snack Sunday for the Florence Police Department to show our gratitude and support to them. This is a simple hands on way to reach out into our community with the love of Christ.

Shoals Sav-A-Life - We are filling baby bottles with coins, cash, and checks to help pregnant women to choose life. Shoals Sav-A-Life has many services that help the unborn to be protected and also services that help pregnant mothers in need. A very worthy cause. Let's bless them. Please pick up one of the baby bottles in the Commons Area and take it home and bring it back filled with coins, cash, and/or check. Make checks to Shoals

In January, GH has also sown into Kingdom Connections International, Restoration Ranch, Joni Ames Prophetic Ministry, Alabama Statewide Kingdom Leaders Gathering, and Casey Doss Ministry in addition to our ongoing missions giving.
SUNDAYS - Grace Kids have a fantastic time of interactive teaching, worship, and lots of fun. Franie and Jason Deaton do a wonderful job of leading both our Sunday morning times of Children's worship.
WEDNESDAYS - Wednesday nights are Kindermusik nights at GH for our children. We have a terrific team leading our Kindermusik program and the kids love this internationally known and loved approach to educate and stimulate children's interest and understanding of the arts. |
Our Rooted Preteens meet each Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. and have a great time exploring God's Word, connecting with each other, and engaging in fun activities.

This is the prayer points I shared with our GH family a few Sundays ago. We are agreeing together to see the following culture and atmosphere cultivated in our midst.
WE, AS THE GRACE HOUSE FAMILY, AGREE & DECLARE THAT:
1. Our family members will be
saved, in love with God, & fulfilling their destiny.
2. There will be no sickness or premature death in our midst.
3. Our marriages & families will live in unity & peace & joy.
4. We will live in faith with no lack breaking the power of the curse of poverty.
