SERMON - The WANT List

PLEASE HELP SERVE THESE TWO WONDERFUL GROUPS OF PEOPLE
1. Restoration Ranch
2. Nursing Home Residents

This year we are going to make a difference in the lives of people outside our congregation. We would like for everyone who would like to participate in this project to do so. To start with we would like to bake cookies for Restoration Ranch.

These are men and woman who sometimes have no families and who really enjoy eating cookies and drinking milk. Mothers, you can teach your children the pleasure of baking cookies and Grandmas you can show how it was done when you were younger. We would like to have the cookies made by Sunday the 18th. Just bake as many as you would like and put them in tins or freezer bags.

If you would like to buy milk instead bake cookies you could put milk money in a baggie and give it to us. We will have someone waiting at the door to take your cookies so you don't have to carry them around.

We also will be taking our craft gifts to the Nursing Home on the 20th and would love to have help doing crafts with the residents. For additional information please contact Pat Smith at 256 764 2884.

DECEMBER 2016

- Christmas in Mexico through Kingdom Connections International. We will be helping Mark and Robyn Sewell bless children and families in Saltillo, Mexico with toys for the children and blankets for the families. This is a frontline missions effort. The Sewells will also lead a mission team to Mexico leaving on January 3rd. Please remember to pray and give to support this wonderful missions opportunity.

NOVEMBER 2016

- Special Offering for the Ricketts in Thailand and Airfare for Anna
- Fall Festival of Faith to serve our community in the Huntsville Rd Area through food, clothing, and ministry.

- Grenada Mission Trip to minister in St. George with Pastor Happy Akaise.

- Providing goods and supplies for THE ROOM IN THE INN Ministry to the homeless here in the Shoals area.

OCTOBER 2016

-During this month we have the opportunity to sow into the ministry of Joni Ames who ministers prophetically with her itinerate ministry and we also are able to sow into the Shoals Praise and Worship Choir which ministers across our region to many churches and events. We thank God for these ministries that reach so many others.

-We also were able to sow into the Charities of the Shoals Praise & Worship Choir.

- We also gave an offering to Bibles for Russia to help provide for numbers of pastors in the Ukraine.

SEPTEMBER 2016
- Dr. Stephen List from the Seattle area. We will be given the opportunity to sow into his ministry and partner with him as he travels to the nations impacting them for the Kingdom. He is used apostolically to minister to leaders of nations and to the church around the world.

AUGUST 2016

-Louisiana Flood Relief - This offering will aid those affected by the Louisiana flooding and will be given through Samaritan's Purse led by Franklin Graham.

-Bishop Kyle Searcy - Bishop Kyle ministers across the country and around the world with a strong apostolic anointing on his life. He is also in the process of creating a radio network so that his ministry will release teaching across the entire continent of Africa.

-Soles for Souls - During the third Sunday of August, we will be given the opportunity again to give gently worn shoes to help impoverished people around the world. This will be the final opportunity this Summer. Thanks for giving.

JULY 2016
-Grace House will be participating in the GIVE A KID A CHANCE event which provides back to school supplies and other resources for families in need in our area.

- Melons for Missions for Bibles for Russia during July 3rd Special Event

-We are also having "Melons for Missions" to support Bibles for Russia on Sunday, July 3rd.

-Soles for Souls - During the third Sundays of June & July & August we will be given the opportunity to give gently worn shoes to help impoverished people around the world

JUNE 2016

-Pastor Joel Ali from Trinidad who is strongly connected to the Grace House family will be ministering in our Wednesday evening service, June 8th at 6:30 p.m. Joel is making an impact in the Trini culture by leading his people to see their nation experience Heaven invading Earth.

-Soles for Souls - During the third Sundays of June & July & August we will be given the opportunity to give gently worn shoes to help impoverished people around the world.

- Our own Mark & Robin Sewell (Kingdom Connections International will be leading a team of GH people and others to Guatemala at the end of June. We all want to support this mission trip and see God touch the lives of many people there in Central America. We will give you the opportunity to sow into this trip in June.

MAY 2016

-Richard & Christy Sherrod minister to persecuted Christian refugees fleeing the swords of Isis in Iraq and Syria into Aman, Jordan. Richard will give us a first hand report of what is happening there on Wednesday night, May 25th at 6:30 p.m.

-Joni Ames has an itinerate prophetic ministry where she ministers to churches, conferences, and small groups across the United States. Joni has continually been a blessing to our Grace House family and to many congregations across our Country. She is solely supported by the gifts of God's people.

APRIL 2016

- Dr. Dan Hammer - Recognized as an apostle and member of the International
Coalition of Apostles, Dan has traveled the world helping plant and develop churches, schools and orphanages in many nations including Mexico, India, South Africa, Uganda, Cuba, Turkey, Italy, Israel, Thailand, Fiji, Poland and Russia.

MARCH 2016

-Richard & Christy Sherrod - Ministering to Persecuted Christians in Iraq & Syria who are fleeing into Amman, Jordan. We will have a special opportunity to sow into this need this month in honor of the death and resurrection of our Lord. Please be praying about what you should give to help those whose lives are jeopardized due to their commitment to Jesus Christ.

We will have a receptacle for your contributions in the Commons area this Sunday. Thank you for helping our brothers and sisters who are being persecuted.

FEBRUARY 2016

-Shoals Sav-A-Life Baby Bottle Blessings. This money will help babies and the mothers to embrace the life, comfort and the love of God.

-Dale Yerton, Living Faith Ministries (Apostolic Ministry to the Nations) Bro. Dale will be with us during the weekend of March 26-28. He travels to the nations ministering to pastors, leaders, and congregations.

JANUARY 2016

-Dr. Stephen List, International Support Ministries (Apostolic Ministry to the Nations)

SUNDAYS - Grace Kids have a fantastic time of interactive teaching, worship, and lots of fun. Franie and Jason Deaton do a wonderful job of leading both our Sunday morning times of Children's worship.

WEDNESDAYS - Wednesday nights are Kindermusik nights at GH for our children. We have a terrific team leading our Kindermusik program and the kids love this internationally known and loved approach to educate and stimulate children's interest and understanding of the arts.

Our Rooted Preteens meet each Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. and have a great time exploring God's Word, connecting with each other, and engaging in fun activities.

RISE Students meet each Sunday afternoon at 5:30 p.m. in the Student Center at Grace House for worship, the Word, and a great time together.

This is the prayer points I shared with our GH family a few Sundays ago. We are agreeing together to see the following culture and atmosphere cultivated in our midst.

WE, AS THE GRACE HOUSE FAMILY, AGREE & DECLARE THAT:
1. Our family members will be saved, in love with God, & fulfilling their destiny.
2. There will be no sickness or premature death in our midst.
3. Our marriages & families will live in unity & peace & joy.
4. We will live in faith with no lack breaking the power of the curse of poverty.
5. We will be emotionally & mentally healthy.
6. We will be protected & delivered from evil.
7. We will be spiritually equipped & engaged in the Kingdom of God reaching
people for Jesus Christ.
