Have you ever watched Mr. McGoo? I mention Mr. Mcgoo because we are having a special guest this weekend at Grace House who jokingly says “He has the McGoo anointing upon his life.” I’m referring to a man full of God’s love, Dr. Stephen List from Seattle, WA.

He was with us back in January He shared with us story after story of how he, like Mr. McGoo, has stumbled into opportunities set in place by God that has enabled him to stand before presidents and kings.

Dr. List be with us this weekend Sept 23 -25th - Friday night at 6:30, Saturday morning at 10, and both services on Sunday morning at 8:45 and 1030. Pastor Doc Shell, the Ministerial Alliance and I and the whole Grace House family invite you to come hear Dr. Stephen List this weekend at GH. Friday night will be a powerful impartation service.

Fall Semester

BASIC SOZO TRAINING - 8 Weeks of Ministry Training

We are excited about offering Sozo Training. Sozo is the Greek word that means to "make whole." It is used in the New Testament to refer to salvation, healing, and deliverance. This class will be one of the desired requirements for those who will be part of our Healing Room Ministry we desire to launch in 2017. I have attached a MS Word document with details of the upcoming class.

WHEN: Class begins Tuesday, September 20^th at 6:30 p.m. and will meet for 8 weeks.

WHERE: Grace House Worship Center

COST: $30 per person (includes Basic Sozo Manual)

CERTIFICATE: Grace House will issue certificates upon completion and will have a time in a Sunday morning service to pray over students who complete the course.

SIGN-UP: You may sign-up and pay for the course at Sign-Up Central in the Commons area before and after any of our Sunday services. More info is available at Sign-up Central.

7 Prayer Points for Grace House

This is the prayer points I shared with our GH family a few Sundays ago. We are agreeing together to see the following culture and atmosphere cultivated in our midst.

WE, AS THE GRACE HOUSE FAMILY, AGREE & DECLARE THAT:
1. Our family members will be saved, in love with God, & fulfilling their destiny.
2. There will be no sickness or premature death in our midst.
3. Our marriages & families will live in unity & peace & joy.
4. We will live in faith with no lack breaking the power of the curse of poverty.
5. We will be emotionally & mentally healthy.
6. We will be protected & delivered from evil.
7. We will be spiritually equipped & engaged in the Kingdom of God reaching
people for Jesus Christ.

Launching October 2nd

We are excited about our Grace House growth track. This is designed to give people a personal look at GH and our vision as well as the opportunity to discover their own personal giftings and how they can serve at GH. The growth track lasts for 4 consecutive Sunday mornings and then will repeat. The class will meet from 9:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. in our newly renovated youth area. We are asking those who sign-up for the growth track to come for the class then stay for the second worship service. Sign-up begins this Sunday, September 18th at Sign-Up Central.

SEPTEMBER 2016
-At the end of the month, we will host Dr. Stephen List once again at Grace House. We will be given the opportunity to sow into his ministry and partner with him as he travels to the nations impacting them for the Kingdom. He is used apostolically to minister to leaders of nations and to the church around the world.

AUGUST 2016

-Louisiana Flood Relief - This offering will aid those affected by the Louisiana flooding and will be given through Samaritan's Purse led by Franklin Graham.

-Bishop Kyle Searcy - Bishop Kyle ministers across the country and around the world with a strong apostolic anointing on his life. He is also in the process of creating a radio network so that his ministry will release teaching across the entire continent of Africa.

-Soles for Souls - During the third Sunday of August we will be given the opportunity again to give gently worn shoes to help impoverished people around the world. This will be the final opportunity this Summer. Thanks for giving.

JULY 2016
-Grace House will be participating in the GIVE A KID A CHANCE event which provides back to school supplies and other resources for families in need in our area.

- Melons for Missions for Bibles for Russia during July 3rd Special Event

-We are also having "Melons for Missions" to support Bibles for Russia on Sunday, July 3rd.

-Soles for Souls - During the third Sundays of June & July & August we will be given the opportunity to give gently worn shoes to help impoverished people around the world

JUNE 2016

-Pastor Joel Ali from Trinidad who is strongly connected to the Grace House family will be ministering in our Wednesday evening service, June 8th at 6:30 p.m. Joel is making an impact in the Trini culture by leading his people to see their nation experience Heaven invading Earth.

-Soles for Souls - During the third Sundays of June & July & August we will be given the opportunity to give gently worn shoes to help impoverished people around the world.

- Our own Mark & Robin Sewell (Kingdom Connections International will be leading a team of GH people and others to Guatemala at the end of June. We all want to support this mission trip and see God touch the lives of many people there in Central America. We will give you the opportunity to sow into this trip in June.

MAY 2016

-Richard & Christy Sherrod minister to persecuted Christian refugees fleeing the swords of Isis in Iraq and Syria into Aman, Jordan. Richard will give us a first hand report of what is happening there on Wednesday night, May 25th at 6:30 p.m.

-Joni Ames has an itinerate prophetic ministry where she ministers to churches, conferences, and small groups across the United States. Joni has continually been a blessing to our Grace House family and to many congregations across our Country. She is solely supported by the gifts of God's people.

APRIL 2016

- Dr. Dan Hammer - Recognized as an apostle and member of the International
Coalition of Apostles, Dan has traveled the world helping plant and develop churches, schools and orphanages in many nations including Mexico, India, South Africa, Uganda, Cuba, Turkey, Italy, Israel, Thailand, Fiji, Poland and Russia.

MARCH 2016

-Richard & Christy Sherrod - Ministering to Persecuted Christians in Iraq & Syria who are fleeing into Amman, Jordan. We will have a special opportunity to sow into this need this month in honor of the death and resurrection of our Lord. Please be praying about what you should give to help those whose lives are jeopardized due to their commitment to Jesus Christ.

We will have a receptacle for your contributions in the Commons area this Sunday. Thank you for helping our brothers and sisters who are being persecuted.

FEBRUARY 2016

-Shoals Sav-A-Life Baby Bottle Blessings. This money will help babies and the mothers to embrace the life, comfort and the love of God.

-Dale Yerton, Living Faith Ministries (Apostolic Ministry to the Nations) Bro. Dale will be with us during the weekend of March 26-28. He travels to the nations ministering to pastors, leaders, and congregations.

JANUARY 2016

SUNDAYS - Grace Kids has a fantastic time of interactive teaching, worship, and lots of fun. Franie and Jason Deaton do a wonderful job of leading both our Sunday morning times of Children's worship.

WEDNESDAYS - Wednesday nights are Kindermusik nights at GH for our children. We have a terrific team leading our Kindermusik program and the kids love this internationally known and loved approach to educate and stimulate children's interest and understanding of the arts.

-- Our Rooted Preteens meet each Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. and have a great time exploring God's Word, connecting with each other, and engaging in fun activities.

RISE Student ministries meets each Sunday afternoon at 5:30 p.m. in the Student Center at Grace House for worship, the Word, and a great time together.
