We are so excited to Pastor Dan Hammer from the Seattle, Washington area with us this month. He pastors a very missions driven congregation and in addition is touching the nations in powerful ways with his preaching and teaching ministry. Please make plans to attend these powerful services and also be praying about what you should sow into this very fruitful ministry. Here is Dan's bio:


Dr. Dan C. Hammer is a true servant-leader and visionary with a passion to reach the unloved with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Dan is committed to intercessory prayer and uncovering the gifts of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers. He regularly teaches how to attain life’s full potential by understanding God’s purpose for your life. Know your gifts, know your purpose!

Recognized as an apostle and member of the International Coalition of Apostles, Dan has traveled the world helping plant and develop churches, schools and orphanages in many nations including Mexico, India, South Africa, Uganda, Cuba, Turkey, Italy, Israel, Thailand, Fiji, Poland and Russia.

Dan is the founding and Senior Pastor of Sonrise Christian Center. He did undergraduate work at Seattle Bible College. He completed his Master’s and Doctorate at Bakke Graduate University. He holds an additional doctoral diploma from Wagner Leadership Institute. Dan serves as the leader of the Northwest New Wine Network, the Washington Alliance for Reformation and the Northwest Apostolic Network. Additionally he is the founder of SGSSM and sits on the board of Aglow International and Seattle Bible College.

Dan and his wife Terry have three adult children and five grandchildren.

 
MARCH 2016

-Richard & Christy Sherrod - Ministering to Persecuted Christians in Iraq & Syria who are fleeing into Amman, Jordan. We will have a special opportunity to sow into this need this month in honor of the death and resurrection of our Lord. Please be praying about what you should give to help those whose lives are jeopardized due to their commitment to Jesus Christ.

We will have a receptacle for your contributions in the Commons area this Sunday. Thank you for helping our brothers and sisters who are being persecuted.

FEBRUARY 2016

-Shoals Sav-A-Life Baby Bottle Blessings. This money will help babies and the mothers to embrace the life, comfort and the love of God. 
-Dale Yerton, Living Faith Ministries (Apostolic Ministry to the Nations) Bro. Dale will be with us during the weekend of March 26-28. He travels to the nations ministering to pastors, leaders, and congregations.

SUMMER STUDENTS TRIP

FROM PASTORS SCOTT & MEGAN: June 20-26th we will be going to Toledo, OH for our big summer trip. This ministry is very close to our heart and we know that this will be a life changing trip for everyone involved!

We would LOVE for all the students to be able to go on this trip. It will be a great trip not only spiritually for the students but to also build deeper relationships!

YOUNG AT HEART DINNER THEATER
Thursday, April 21st


Young at Heart's next event is a trip to Athens, Alabama, to Yesterday's Event Center. Entertainment will be a group called Replay. Tickets are $11.00 each. Please let Bill or Mary Lou Butler know if you can attend by Sunday, April 3, so they can make reservations and secure a van. You can see them at the sign-up table in the commons are for the next three Sundays. Vans will leave the church at 9:30 a.m. on April 21. Lunch will be from 11-12. Entertainment from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

YESTERDAYS" Event Center in Athens, Alabama is North Alabama's only complete full service event center, able to provide complete facilities, complete food services, and entertainment packages all at one location.

The annual Senior Lunch Matinee series for our regional senior church groups, senior center groups, and senior civic and social groups runs Apr-Dec, and we will showcase the region's top performers in "YESTERDAYS".
