We are participating in a nationwide program called A Million Thanks which provides support and appreciation to our active and veteran military men and women through sending letters of appreciation and encouragement.
We have Thank You cards at Grace House that you can pick up and use to write your note(s) or you can use your own card (see directions below). Please return these cards by Sunday, July 3, and place in the basket in the Commons Area. Do not use an envelope for the card as they must be bundled with rubber bands in groups of 50 without envelopes. They are sent to our military and distributed around the world.
We ask that you address the letters generically. Some examples of this may be ‘Dear Hero’ or ‘Dear Troops’. Please do not send us letters that are written to a specific individual. Please note that A Million Thanks does NOT accept commercial, store-bought greeting cards with pre-printed messages inside. All purchased cards must be blank on the inside and the space should be filled with a handwritten message of support and
appreciation.
Thank you for joining in our effort to show appreciation to our military. We also encourage you to pause and pray over your card for the individual who will receive it.
